Dahl Taylor

Dahl Taylor’s career has spanned more than 30 years. In that time he has painted murals and art for historic sites and museums, canvases for commemorative limited-edition prints for national memorials including the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington D.C and images for theatre companies across the country including several Broadway productions. He is represented by galleries in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine. His work covers a wide variety of subject matter, but his deepest interest lies in the coastal/maritime genre.

Taylor’s marine experience includes participation in 15 annual International Marine Art Exhibitions at the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport. He received the Thomas M. Hoyne Award, III from the Maritime Gallery for his painting of Stonington, Maine in 2000. Dahl was part of a two-man show at the Albany Institute of History and Art, which documented the construction of a replica of the schooner America. Several of these paintings were featured in the British magazine Classic Boat.
