The Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport will hold a special Behind the Canvas program featuring  maritime artist and former President of the Royal Society of Marine Artists, Geoff Hunt. The British artist will present “A Sea Painter’s World,” highlighting his masterful illustrations for the covers of the Patrick O’Brian novels and his seafaring paintings that he is so well-known for. Hunt will be visiting Mystic Seaport for the week doing research for a painting documenting the launch of the Charles W. Morgan. Don’t miss his special visit to the U.S.!
