Have your Birthday Party at Mystic Seaport!
Looking for something special to do for your child's birthday? Do they like Pirates or Sailors? Mermaids or Girls of Long Ago? Then celebrate your ocean-loving child's special day with a nautical-themed birthday party at Mystic Seaport, the Museum of America and the Sea! From five to 15 people, each two-hour party is suitable for children ages 3-10. It's a fun, fantastic way to celebrate your child's special birthday. Plus, it couldn't be any easier to plan.
The adventure begins at the Visitors Center where party participants meet their Museum host. From there, a mini-tour of the Museum lets party-goers climb aboard tall ships, sing a sea chanty, make a special theme-appropriate craft, and play a game. And the fun doesn't stop there! The tour ends in the Galley where drinks and a themed-birthday cake are served while presents are opened. This will be one birthday they won't forget.
Your birthday party includes:
- Free All-Day admission to the Museum for up to 15 people (children and adults).
- Two-hour themed party including a Museum tour led by a Museum host.
- Customized name tags, craft project, and Mystic Seaport party favor for each child.
- A private party room for cake and gifts.
- Delicious party-themed birthday cake, drinks, plates, cups, forks and napkins. We also supply a cake knife, cake server, candles and matches. (Out of respect for our marine environment, no confetti or piñatas, please.)
- Full setup and cleanup so you and your family can enjoy the party!
All this for just $325 per party for non-members, $300 for members.

| Closings: | If Mystic Seaport closes due to weather, your birthday party will be rescheduled to a later date or a full refund will be given |
| Changes: | There is an additional $50 change fee for rescheduling the date/time of party. |
| Cancellations: | Up to 30 days prior to party, 75% refund 15-29 days before the party, 50% refund |
