Ship to Shore: Overnight School Group Program
(Weekdays: February - June and September - November)
Experience the flavor of life at sea and shore as you and your students stay aboard the 1882 square-rigged Joseph Conrad by night and explore the village and exhibits of Mystic Seaport by day. This intensive three-day, two-night residential program combines guided tours; small-group workshops; interactive planetarium, roleplaying and chantey music presentations; hands-on activities and additional highlights to create a memorable exploration of America's maritime history.
Groups of 20 - 45 students are invited to solve problems cooperatively, accept new challenges and discover and apply traditional skills. Programs are focused around central themse chosen by visitng teachers and designed to complement school curriuculum.

Ship to Shore Fees
$190 per student for two nights.
$140 per student for one night.
- Fees are inclusive of all admission, meals and program costs.
- The minimum group size is 20 (including students and adults).
- A $40 per person non-refundable deposit is required.
- One adult chaperone is required for every 10 students.
- There is no fee for required chaperones.
- Additional adults (over and above the required number) are charged the student fee ($190)
- Up to six adults in total may attend, including required and additional chaperones.
- Lunch boxes available on the last day upon request- $2 additional fee per person.
