Are you curious about the value of certain items in your home? Find out at the Museum's Appraisal Day when Ronald P. Bourgeault and members of his staff will provide you with a verbal estimate of value in the following areas: maritime art, paintings, books/manuscripts/maps, decorative art, timepieces, antique jewelry, and Asian items. Bourgeault has appeared on WGBH-TV's Antiques Roadshow as an appraiser of furniture, folk art, silver, and art. He is also the owner of Northeast Auctions in Portsmouth, NH.
Registration covers up to three hand-carry items per person. No large items are permitted. Although appraisals will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, pre-registration is highly recommended. Please inform us of the category for your items and the hour (between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.) when you intend to arrive and we will place your name on a pre-registered list for the experts to prioritize.
