Mystic Seaport Exhibits & Galleries

These exhibits do anything but just hang on the wall.

The 19th century has never felt more alive than in Mystic Seaport’s formal exhibitions and maritime galleries – the nation’s foremost.

Our newest exhibits reveal rare and historic maps dating from 1544 to 1802; details about the ongoing Charles W. Morgan restoration; and a hands-on activity cart including all types of nautical instruments.

On loan from the private collection of Henry and Holly Wendt of Washington, the traveling exhibit features more than 30 rare and historic maps, illustrations and books. <More info>

At the Map Spot you'll learn how to read and make maps and maritime charts at different activity stations. <More info>
