Open-Hearth Cooking Class
Knowledgeable cooks will guide you as you roast, bake, stir and sizzle your way through the preparation of a traditional 19th-century meal. Enjoy the warmth of the hearth as you enjoy the fruits of your labor in the 1768 Buckingham-Hall House. All materials are provided -- you bring your curiosity and appetite; beginners to experts are welcome. Class includes a delicious hearth-cooked supper, plus a copy of The American Frugal Housewife by Lydia Child.
