Let Her Run
Competitive Rowing Exhibit
Open during Museum hours
in the National Rowing Foundation's Hall of Fame
View an exhibition of artifacts reflecting the early development of competitive rowing prior to the modern era in Let Her Run, a permanent exhibit housed within the National Rowing Foundation's National Rowing Hall of Fame at Mystic Seaport.
Hundreds of rare and historically significant pieces of rowing memorabilia are displayed, including photographs, racing shells, medals, trophies, sheet music and other items loaned by the Friends of Rowing History, the National Rowing Foundation and from the Museum's own collections.
"The location could not be better," said Hart Perry, executive director of the National Rowing Foundation and adjunct curator at Mystic Seaport. "The rowing exhibit is a detailed one that tells the story about American rowing through its history. We are delighted that Mystic Seaport is the repository of a comprehensive exhibition of artifacts reflecting rowing history and the National Rowing Hall of fame."
Discover the famed Yale-Harvard rivalry. Learn more about Jack Kelly, a three-time gold medal Olympian rower, political maverick and the millionaire father of Princess Grace of Monaco.
