Join us for this special holiday tradition and step back in time to Christmas Eve, 1876. The village of Greenmanville is alive with the bustle of last minute Christmas activity, preparations for the holiday festivities, and the merry jingle of sleigh bells. Enjoy a stroll with a cheery townsperson as you take in the smell of freshly baked ginger cookies, hear lively tunes, join in a dance, and bask in the beautiful glow of the hundreds of lanterns that light your way. Surprises may await you as you share the joys and celebrations of a traditional Victorian Christmas - perhaps St. Nicholas will even pay a visit!

This event requires a special ticket in lieu of general admission. Tours are capped at 16 people and leave every 15 minutes. Pre-registration is highly encouraged as tours fill up quickly. Lantern Light Tours are appropriate for all ages, though not recommended for children under the age of 4.

If Mystic Seaport cancels a tour due to weather, every effort will be made to contact ticket holders; alternate dates are encouraged, but refunds will be given.
