Our Wooden Boat Playground for Kids

Climb the masts! Mystic Seaport is proud to announce the newest additions to our fleet - a sailing ship, lobster boat, and fishing dragger - but none of these boats float in the water. They're all playscapes, designed just for kids to climb around and explore.

The playscape area is surrounded by mulch for safety and benches for parents and caregivers, and is located just across from the Planetarium.

We recently added a picnic table perfect for those late afternoon lunches.
