Overnight Programs at Mystic Seaport
Mystic Seaport offers a rich variety of youth overnight programming for individuals, scouts, and school groups. These programs give children the opportunity to stay overnight on the Joseph Conrad.
Our Anchor Watch programs are appropriate for any youth group ages 6-18 but some programs allow scouts to achieve certain honors and special badges such as "A Taste of History" and "Destination Outer Space." More information.

Ship to Shore
Experience the flavor of life at sea and on shore as you and your students stay aboard the 1882 square-rigged Joseph Conrad by night and explore the village and exhibits of Mystic Seaport by day. This is an intensive three-day, two-night residential program that combines guided tours, small-group workshops, interactive planetarium visits, roleplaying and chantey music presentations with hands-on activities and additional highlights to create a memorable exploration of America's maritime history. Groups are invited to solve problems cooperatively, accept new challenges, and discover and apply traditional skills. Programs are focused around central themes chosen by visiting teachers and designed to complement the school curriculum. More information.
