Summer Camps & Programs - 2013

Mystic Seaport offers a number of summer camp programs that provide a unique learning adventure where meeting new friends is fun and easy. Our selection of Summer Day Camps offer boys and girls ages 4 to 16 a kid's-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum and take part in hands-on activities. Your 10- to 15-year-old can spend a week living on the Joseph Conrad and learning to sail, and ages 15 and older can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Community Sailing classes let children ages 8 and older build and refine sailing skills all while nurturing the love of the water.

Special offer: Register for one camp session then save 10% when you register siblings or sign up for multiple camp sessions (this discount does not apply to the Brilliant program). The discount will apply to the least expensive camp.

Financial Aid Available

Financial assistance is available for Summer Day Camp, the Joseph Conrad overnight sailing program, the teen sailing program aboard Brilliant, and for youth and homeschool Community Sailing. Application deadline is May 15, 2013. No more than 50% of the cost of the program will be given as aid. For more information and to apply, visit www.mysticseaport.org/financialaid or call 860.572.5322. This financial aid is made possible by the generous support from the William and Eileen Ames Fund, the Todd Wilkins Scholarship Fund, the George Gordon Breed Memorial Fund, and numerous private donors.
