School Teacher-Led Tours (Self-Guided)

Interested in a guided tour? <Click here for more information...>

Throughout the year, teacher-led tours offer educators the freedom to handcraft their visits to Mystic Seaport. Groups are encouraged to climb aboard the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaling ship in the world, visit a working shipyard, go back in time to a 19th-century coastal village and experience our current exhibitions such as Voyages: Stories of America and the Sea.

Mystic Seaport offers a daily schedule of activities, demonstrations and performances to enhance your visit. Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., these activities are especially geared toward students.
