Cool sea air, a warm autumn sun and piping-hot “chowda.” Does it get any better than that?
At Mystic Seaport’s annual Chowderfest, visitors taste the best chowder anywhere, delectable seafood specialties, seasonal desserts and beer, wine and apple cider.
And there's more on the menu than great food. (Hey, this is Mystic Seaport!) Stroll through the village and enjoy live music by Finest Kind. Bring the kids to enjoy a “clammy” art project and story time in the Children’s Museum. Learn about late summer stars and the mariner under the Planetarium dome. Or, climb aboard our steamboat Sabino for a closer look at the colorful foliage.
