Lantern Light Tours

November 30 and December 1, 7-8, 13-14, 20-22 and 27, 2013
Tours begin at 5 p.m.

Lantern Light Tours at Mystic SeaportExperience a New England holiday tradition at Mystic Seaport. Step back in time to Christmas Eve 1876 and meet the residents of the quaint village of Greenmanville. Both young and old will enjoy seasonal highlights that include a traditional tavern dance, a horse-drawn carriage ride, and just perhaps, a visit with old St. Nick himself! More details on this year's event are coming soon.

This moving performance/walking tour meanders through the Museum's 19th-century maritime village. The route covers approximately 1/2 mile of uneven terrain (including cobblestone, wood planking, grass, gravel, and stairs). Please wear appropriate shoes as you will walk or stand for the entire tour.

Lantern Light Tours require a special ticket in lieu of general admission. Tours are capped at 16 people and leave every 15 minutes. The holiday event is appropriate for all ages, though not recommended for children under the age of 4. Pre-registration is encouraged as tours fill up quickly.

Please check back soon for ticket pricing.

If Mystic Seaport cancels a tour due to weather, every effort will be made to contact ticket holders; alternate dates are encouraged, but refunds will be given. Please call Mystic Seaport at 860.572.0711 with questions about weather cancellations.
