Lobster, lobster and more lobster!
Stop by the Museum Store during Memorial Day Weekend and check out new lobster-themed products. Our Café and Bake Shop will also be offering Lobster Bisque and even freshly baked lobster cookies for purchase!
Vivian Volovar, author of Lobster Lady, will also be at the store May 25-27 from 11 am-2 pm to sign copies of her illustrated book, Lobster Lady. Volovar has been lobstering commercially in the waters of Fishers Island Sound and eastern Long Island since 1978 and is known up and down the coast as the "Lobster Lady." Her charming children's book invites young readers to spend a day aboard Andy's Girl with the Lobster Lady and learn all there is to know about lobstering.

Crack your first lobster claw of the season at Mystic Seaport's butter-dribbling, shell-sucking, quintessentially New England Lobster Days during Memorial Day Weekend.
Lobsters in the rough are served by the Mystic Rotary Club. Lobster platters are served picnic-style under the open-air Boat Shed where diners can watch boats cruising on the Mystic River and enjoy music of the sea. All proceeds from Memorial Day Weekend support the Mystic Rotary Club's community organizations and projects.

Museum admission is required to attend Lobster Days. Food and drink are purchased separately when on grounds.
