Todd Montanaro

Todd grew up in Rhode Island and started drawing and painting at an early age. He is now an award-winning artist living and working in Boston, MA. Todd studied studio art at The Art Institute of Chicago, The School of Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art, and through multiple workshops with nationally renowned artists. His work has encompassed many subjects, but has been focused recently on coastal landscapes and architecture.

While he prefers to paint on location, Todd also paints larger landscape paintings in the studio based on information gathered from these studies outside. Todd is a member of the Copley Society of Art, The Oil Painters of America and The National Oil & Acrylic Painter’s Society.

He is represented by Copley Society of Art, Boston, MA; Charles Fine Arts, Gloucester, MA; The Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic, CT; and Thanassi Art Gallery, Provincetown, MA.
