Arts on the Quad: Flock Theatre Richard II
Pack your picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs and join us for the Arts on the Quad outdoor performance series!
Founded in 1989, Flock Theatre is one the most adventurous classical theatre companies in New England. Whether working with the timeless words of Shakespeare, Moliere and Sophocles, or more modern classics such as Eugene O’Neill, John Steinbeck and Oscar Wilde, Flock Theatre is dedicated to creating original, collaborative and educational theatre. Flock Theatre returns to Arts on the Quad to perform Shakespeare’s Richard II, the first play in a series of four plays that chronicles the rise of the house of Lancaster to the British throne.
A cash bar and snacks will be available, and attendees may bring their own picnic (please note guests are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages).
All performances are rain or shine. In the event of rain, the performance will be moved under cover and seating will be provided.
