Farm to Hearth: The Original Slow Food Movement
Join us for an open-hearth cooking class that celebrates the original slow food movement, using fresh period accurate produce. Immerse yourself in a traditional 19th-century cooking and dining experience as you learn the art of open-hearth cooking in the 1768 Buckingham-Hall House. Our knowledgeable staff will guide you as you bake, stir, and sizzle using traditional techniques and receipts (an early word for recipes). All materials and ingredients are provided; bring only your enthusiasm and your appetite. Cooks of any experience level are welcome!
