Learn the art of open-hearth cooking in the 1768 Buckingham-Hall House. Knowledgeable cooks will guide you as you roast, bake, stir, and sizzle your way through the preparation of a traditional 19th-century meal.
Bask in the warmth of the hearth as you enjoy the fruits of your labor. All materials are provided – you bring your curiosity and appetite; beginners to experts are welcome. Class registration includes a delicious hearth-cooked supper, plus a copy of Sandra Oliver’s Saltwater Foodways Cookbook. Limited to 8 participants ages 16 and older.
