Plymouth Whale Watch Adventure
July 17, 2019
Great for all ages! Join us for a cruise through the waters of Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Banks to witness the majesty of whales in their natural habitat. Historically, these waters were the hunting grounds for whaling ships, including the Charles W. Morgan. They are now a marine sanctuary and one of the primary feeding grounds for Humpback Whales, Finback Whales, Pilot Whales, Minke Whales, and the endangered Right Whales. During our trip, an experienced naturalist will be our guide as we encounter these graceful and rare animals up close.
Our group will meet at the historic waterfront on Town Wharf in Plymouth, MA, to board at Captain Johns Boats.
Captain John Boats was established in 1946 as a daily fishing charter and has grown to provide amazing whale watch adventures. The vessels in this whale watching fleet have restrooms on board and full galley services – hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and a variety of snacks and beverages are available for purchase in case the ocean air builds up your appetite. You are also welcome to pack your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
