The Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport Museum is now open to the public on Thursday evenings! Come see our newly-upgraded Planetarium Theater, where we now pair the authentic night sky created by our optical-mechanical star projector with the immersive wonder of our NEW fulldome mirror projection system. Join us this winter for one of our hour-long programs, featuring:
- A 30-minute live and interactive tour of the current night’s sky
- A 30-minute fulldome movie projected onto the dome (see schedule of movies below)
Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.mysticseaport.org, or they can be bought on-site the night of the event. Visitors should use the north entrance to the Mystic Seaport Museum, located in the Thompson Exhibition Building. A member of the Planetarium staff will direct you to the Planetarium building.
