HMS RESOLUTE: Her Discovery, Salvage, and Legacy

Upon her return to New London on Christmas Eve 1855, HMS Resolute became an instrument of unity both nationally and internationally. Though Resolute inspired positive political change, the fortunes of the men responsible for her salvage crumbled.
