The Museum's North Entrance

Hours 2020

During February 10 – 19, J.M.W. Turner: Watercolors from Tate exhibition is open every day 10 a.m.-8 p.m. (last ticket sold at 7 p.m.)

During February 20 – 23, the Turner exhibition will be open every day 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4:30 p.m.)

Ticket price for the Turner exhibition 5-7 p.m. $15, for ages 4 and older.

The exhibition will run until February 23, 2020.

J.M.W. Turner: Watercolors from Tate exhibition open every day 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4:30 p.m.) Reduced admission price of $15 for the Turner exhibition during Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The Museum’s northern campus* open, Thursday – Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. until February 14.

February 15 – March 27
Full Museum open, Thursday – Sunday, exhibits close at 4 p.m., grounds and Collins Gallery close at 5 p.m. (See exceptions above in red!)
Collins Gallery open 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday – Wednesday until February 19
Museum Closed Monday – Wednesday February 20 – March 27

March 28 – June 19
Full Museum open, daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., grounds close at 6 p.m.

June 20 – October 12 (Columbus Day)
Full Museum open, daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., grounds close at 6 p.m.

October 13 – November 29
Full Museum open, daily 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., grounds close at 5 p.m.

Closed Thanksgiving Day

November 30 – January 1, 2020
Collins Gallery open, only, Monday – Wednesday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Museum Campus closed) $15 Ticket
Full Museum open, Thursday – Sunday 10 a.m.  – 4 p.m., grounds and Collins Gallery close at 5 p.m.

*Exhibits open in the “northern campus” are: Thompson Exhibition Building (#1 with Collins Gallery), R.J. Schaefer Building (#2), Stillman Building (#6), Buckingham-Hall House (#11), Treworgy Planetarium (#9), and the 1841 whaleship Charles W. Morgan.

Museum grounds remain open one hour after exhibits close.

Note: Exceptions to the schedule include inclement weather and other unexpected Museum closings. In such an event, there will be an alert on www.mysticseaport.org.

General admission tickets can be purchased online or at the north entrance in the Thompson Exhibition Building at 105 Greenmanville Avenue (Route 27) in Mystic. Free parking is directly across the street. For general admission questions, please call 860.572.0711. For group admission tickets, please call 860.572.5331.

Promotions & Special Offers

Special events, activities and other fees are ticketed on-grounds separately. Offers cannot be combined and are subject to change at any time. Please call 860.572.0711 with any pricing questions.

Active duty/retired military: Uniformed active duty military receive free admission. All non-uniformed active duty and retired military and their accompanying family members receive the group discount rate. All memberships receive a $10 discount.

Special needs visitors: 50 percent discount on admission. One adult attending to the special needs visitor receives 50 percent off admission.

Your birthday: Visit on your birthday and your admission is our gift to you! If you are a Museum member, bring a friend for free. Offer available to adults and children. Must present a valid photo ID or copy of birth certificate.

Free second-day admission: Each general admission ticket purchased at Mystic Seaport Museum is good for one admission on the day of purchase. Have your ticket validated before you leave and you may return the next business day for free (not included: tickets purchased after 3 p.m.).
