Have a large group? Mystic Seaport Museum provides reduced admission to groups of 15 or more with advance reservations.
From the mature audience to youth groups bouncing with excitement to tour buses brimming with passengers, Mystic Seaport Museum offers complete group tour services.
Upon arrival, all visitors receive a map and schedule of activities. Visitors may tour the Museum independently and at their own pace. With so much to see and do, we suggest you allow three to four hours for a self-guided exploration of our 19 acres, which allows time for a bite to eat and to shop.
The Museum Store, located just outside our south entrance, includes the nation’s premier Maritime Art Gallery as well as a bookstore, and assorted items derived from various Mystic Seaport Museum collections. Treat yourself to a souvenir or something sweet from the Bake Shop (hint: Wall of Fudge).
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Reception Center located at the main entrance. In the spring season, a group ticketing booth operates in the south parking lot for your convenience. Tickets must be purchased with a single payment to receive the group rate.
Payment: Payment for admission(s) is due on arrival by cash, company check, or credit card. American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card is accepted.
Parking: Groups should use the north parking lot, immediately across the street from the Thompson Exhibition Building entrance to Mystic Seaport Museum at 105 Greenmanville Ave. (Route 27) in Mystic.
Dining: Mystic Seaport Museum offers a variety of on-grounds dining options. How about a New England-style clambake or simply a boxed lunch for everyone? We offer a range of services to meet your group’s hungry appetites. Ask the Reservations Specialist for more information when you book your tour.
